1 Samuel 4:6-22
One of the agonies of a death in the family is the absence of the person we loved. Their presence is gone, and only memories remain. Their bed is empty, their chair at the table is vacant, their voice no longer echoes off the walls of our. home. They are gone!
The agony and heartaches of an argument with the person close to us is the broken fellowship, lack of closeness and tenderness, and the loss of sweetness. The fellowship is broken and gone.
