Matthew 19:16

Titus 1:2 states, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; the hope of eternal life has been promised by God Himself. There are two reasons.

God cannot lie. God cannot lie because of His perfect nature. Think about these facts for a moment.

God’s nature is perfect love, and love does not lie. God loves perfectly; therefore, He always tells the truth.
