Jeremiah 14:1-6

In Jeremiah 14, we read of a terrible drought that has come to the nation of Judah. They are in pitiful condition – for there has been no rain for a while. The people are starving, mourning, and in need of water. The nobles sent their children to the pits – or cisterns – looking for water, but there was none to be found.
