John 6:31-35

Jesus said, “I am the bread of life!” This is a fitting title for the one who was born in Bethlehem, which means, “House of Bread.” This statement is the first of the seven “I AM” statements made by the Lord. The others were Light (9:5), Door (10:9), Shepherd (10:11), Way (14:6), Life (11:25), and Vine (15:1).

God revealed Himself to Moses as “I AM.” He is the self-existent one who is, was, and is to come. Jesus is the Bread of Life. What does that mean to us?
