1 Samuel 3:11-13

In the depth of the night, God has called persistently to young Samuel. After the counsel of Eli, Samuel responds to the voice that calls out to him, “Speak, for thy servant heareth!” Samuel is useable to God for He made Himself available to God. His lowly attitude of servanthood will exalt him to the highest leadership position in the land.
