1 Samuel 20:18-42

The fury of Saul has got David worried, and he will soon have to scurry in a hurry for his life. David has done nothing wrong. He has done all he has been asked to do, yet, his king is still wanting to kill him. How discouraging, how depressing, how defeating this must be. Put yourself in David’s shoes and feel his anguish and agony. Life has been pretty lumpy, bumpy, dumpy, jumpy, and grumpy for David. Do those words characterize your life now or in the past? Can you sympathize with David?
