1 Samuel 19:11-24

David’s life has been like a ride on a roller coaster… up and down. He has gone from praise and honor to the persecution and hatred from Saul. Jonathan interceded for David, talking to Saul and appeasing his envy and anger. David is restored to fellowship and is serving before the king again. War brews up again with the Philistines, and David is victorious. Saul’s anger and jealousy fire up again. Another attempt is made to kill David. He is on the run and is a fugitive.
