1 Samuel 13

The tables begin to turn on Saul in chapter thirteen. Victory soon turns to defeat. One victory does not make a man a conqueror. The Philistines come on the scene in this chapter, and Saul has to deal with them. Saul begins to change and begins a downward spiral that leads to defeat, disgrace, and death.
