1 Samuel 19:1-10

Saul wants David killed. There is nothing new about that. He has tried several times already. Something is new here though. The father is telling his son, “I want you to be a murderer.” How tragic and terrible Saul’s example is to his son. A parent is far gone when he tempts his kids to do wrong.
