1 Samuel 23:13-18

God puts David through the refiner’s fire of affliction, a furnace of tribulation in order to draw him closer to Himself and teach him valuable lessons. During David’s trial, at a most desperate time, his friends come to his side and walk with him through this furnace of fiery afflictions.
