Ruth 1:2-18

God leads us through seasons of life, spring seasons when exciting opportunities for investment arise, summer seasons when we labor to nourish and protect our investments as they grow, fall seasons when we celebrate the fruits of our labor, and winter seasons when we just hunker down and survive.

Proverbs 6:6
The wise ant gathers her food in the harvest. In verse 8, the ant knows the cold winter is always coming. The first verses of Ruth introduced us to a difficult winter season.

There are at least two things we can learn for our lives from this passage.
