James 5:13-15

In the light of the New Testament, the cross is the basis for all the benefits believers receive in Christ. Among the benefits of the cross are physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. The message of the cross is not just good news for the soul but for the body as well.

A prominent theme of the theology of those who believe in spirit baptism is the whole gospel for the whole person. God created the whole person and is interested in not just our spiritual welfare but in our whole existence.
