Psalms 27:1

Psalms 27 has been referred to as one of the most comforting and best known psalm. This may be true because the psalm is so indicative of where we are today. The first half of the psalm is full of faith that is soaring like an eagle, but the second half takes an about-face and is characterized by fearfulness. Yet, these two moods are in us all the time. We are constantly floating between faith and fear.
